The Dementia Education and Training Program provides learning opportunities for carers/family members of people living with dementia.
WHAT CAN WE OFFER YOU?
We will work with carers to provide:
- learning opportunities that will increase understanding about caring for someone with dementia
- information and current news on dementia and support services
- access to online resources
- ability to connect with other carers
The Dementia Australia National Symposium will be held at The Fullerton, Sydney on 24 March 2020.
Discussions will take place on quality care and how it should be delivered.

At the recent G20 Health Summit, Dementia has been recognised as a common challenge with significant impacts on the quality of life. Affecting not only the patient but the family and caregivers. Dementia has been finally brought to the attention of the WHO Global Plan as a public health priority after being invisible for many years.
